My 9 to 5 Story!

I started working at a start up in 2015 after a not-so-great five years running my own business.

By 2016, I got moved to the company’s main office with a big pay raise. I liked the idea — Even I do a bit less work, I am liable to get the same paycheck every month. That’s a big deal for someone who used to run a business.

Fast forward to 2018, and I was one of the top guys with a cool title and a good salary. I enjoyed the fact that even if I slacked off a bit, my paycheck stayed the same.

Things went downhill in 2019, and by the time I left in 2022, my salary and title hadn’t changed. What went wrong?
