“iPads can REPLACE Laptops”: The Myth?
iPads or any tablet are the most desirable piece of tech for anyone to own, but it is in the most confusing state ever.
Taking example of an iPad- It comes quite close to a MacBook, YET so far. It actually feels like an iPhone with a bigger screen.
It was launched in 2010 by Steve Jobs and had a clear vision — “He wanted a device that bridges the gap between a iPhone and MacBook”. But I feel the perception of iPad is not what the actual vision was!
Most of us buy iPad and try to replace our laptops with it — TOTALLY WRONG approach!
The RIGHT approach — Start with a laptop or a MacBook (Whatever your preference is!) and then buy an iPad or any tablet!
Let me explain this concept!

iPads were designed to make technology look attractive, intuitive, easy to use and yet powerful enough to do complex tasks. I have had used iPad as my main computer for an year and I just always felt iPad as an iPhone with a bigger screen.
I didn’t feel the need of using my MacBook unless, I have to do anything productive, like:
- Organising my file folders
- Use Google sheets
- Or do Coding
