I have a little different opinion in this sense. I have a 2018 iPad pro with folio keyboard and MacBook pro 2019 model.

If I have to divide then I use my iPad (70% of the time) and rest 30% being for my MacBook. After the iPad in my life, productivity has increased and consuming media is a breeze. I still feel, iPads are awesome productivity/entertainment device.

This is a personal thought and productivity would be different for different set of people.
