4 Things To Have A Successful 9 To 5 (I Followed Only №1)
Number 3 is a Hard Reality!
I joined a company when it was in its nascent stage, and there were no employees from tier-1 colleges. The reason was simple: at that time, the company couldn’t afford those big shots.
I worked really hard, learned a lot, and then the company grew, and along came the big shots. I started losing my position, and growth stopped.
I cursed the company, thinking it had used me, and now, when I was worthy of rewards, someone else came.
But, I was wrong.
Never blame anyone for your miseries; it’s you who did it, and below are 4 things I learned.
4. Be A Tortoise, Not A Rabbit
Keep the scoreboard ticking.
There are two ways to approach work: the Tortoise method and the Rabbit method. I adopted the rabbit method, and it didn’t work.
Doing small incremental things at regular intervals and consistently is the right way to work in your 9 to 5.
Doing things like a rabbit will only result in:
Short term — You get a good increment that year and maybe a promotion.
